Could your firm be both more productive and profitable if you had the right mix of systems, process, and oversight? Are you tired of looking at IT as just another item on the wrong side of your company's balance sheet?
Small and medium sized businesses today need the expertise and vision of a Chief Information Officer, and are often expected to ‘find someone’ internally who can wear that hat. More often than not, those people have other jobs that already demand their full attention.
That’s where we come in. We know how to work with you, as your partner, to make sure IT is implemented thoughtfully and judiciously. We have over 20 years of experience doing just that in a variety of industries. We'll help your business become more efficient, better informed, and more agile. Simply: we’ll make sure that you see a better bottom line.
Dave founded dbb solutions in 2008 in response to his experience that many Private Equity firms lacked internal IT expertise capable of successfully meshing business requirements with world-class systems and process. He is responsible for the coordination of all principal activities.
His career in the Private Equity industry began at Kohlberg Kravis Roberts &Co. (KKR) in 1994, while still a consultant with DRT Systems (now Deloitte). Hired in 1995 as KKR's first in-house IT employee, he designed and built custom systems tailored specifically to the firm's deal flow, portfolio management, and Investor Relations functions.
He both created and managed the firm's IT infrastructure and team, helping it grow from a two office ‘boutique’ to the global institution it had become upon his departure in 2007.
Prior to KKR, Mr. Bieler was responsible for developing custom database management systems with both DRT Systems and the Q-M Consulting Group.
He holds a BA from Rutgers College, New Brunswick. He serves as a Trustee on the Board of the Frost Valley YMCA.
